Meet the Alpacas
Sadly most travellers to Peru encounter Alpacas only in Cusco as a photo subject. If you like to visit Alpacas in their habitat, you have to make the effort to travel up to the high altitude plains above the sacred valley or in the region around the Assaungate Mountain range, where huge herds roam the grass lands.
To give you both, the Alpacas and the high altitude experience we have designed a beautiful day tour from Cusco, or even closer, the sacred valley.
The tour is conducted by a comfortable four wheel drive and includes an English speaking guide and a picnic of your choice.
The tour is for private guest and leaves at 09.30a.m. from the sacred valley and returns at around 3 - 4p.m.
